Long lost South Park Gameboy Color game Leaked Online

South Park Gameboy Color

This is quite the crazy tale so strap in. Apparently, a long lost South Park Gameboy Color Game has just clawed its way back onto the internet. According to this Resetera thread, the game was canceled because the creators of South Park, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone, were concerned due to the main audience of the Gameboy being children. And South Park isn’t exactly…. family friendly.

It is believed that they kept the prototype of this game.

The game was then remade into three games, unrelated to South Park Gameboy Color. North America got two different games out of this project: “Mary-Kate & Ashley – Get a Clue” and “The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley”. Europe got one game, based off a German Animated Series called “Maya the bee”.

According to this link, Maya the bee had unused South Park Sprites.  The source South Park Gameboy Color Game has now been released. South Park has given us some wonderful video games. Equally hilarious as the show, we have gotten “South Park: The Stick of Truth” and “South Park: The Fractured but whole” in recent years.
