Lenovo 81HE Specs and Geekbench Scores Leaked, First RTX 2070 Laptop

It has been a few months since the launch of the new RTX Graphics cards by Nvidia. The Turing architecture based GPUs are the fastest gaming GPUs in the market right now. It is about time that we see the RTX lineup extend to mobile configurations. Today, we have some news regarding a Lenovo laptop that features a Nvidia RTX 2070 GPU. The laptop in question is a Lenovo 81HE. Leaked Geekbench scores have revealed that the laptop packs an RTX 2070 GPU. This may as well be the first ever RTX 2070 Laptop to come to the market in near future.

Earlier today, Geekbench score of Lenovo 81HE leaked online. The score results show a detailed list of specs for the laptop the most impressive of which is the RTX 2070 GPU.

As can be seen, the model name is 81HE. The laptop is running Windows 10. As for the specs, it has 32 GB of RAM. The processor cannot be seen in the Geekbench screenshot but according to a source it is claimed that the laptop will feature a 6-core 12-thread Intel Core i7-8750H processor.

Coming to the GPU, it appears that this laptop runs an RTX 2070 GPU by Nvidia. It has compute units of 36, a maximum frequency of 1.3 GHz and Vram of 8GB.

Now as one would expect of a mobile platform, the specs of the GPU cannot be akin to the Desktop counterparts. However, still the specs of the RTX 2070 seem impressive and the OpenCL score is 223753.

One more thing to note is that the RTX 2070 is the Max-Q variant GPU. Max-Q is Nvidia’s mobile GPU technology that enables the implementation of desktop-oriented high power GPUs into thin and sleek mobile platforms like laptops. It seems that the Max-Q technology by Nvidia is here to stay and will be part of the RTX lineup as well.
