The Coffee Lake Refresh processors by Intel is its 9th Gen of Desktop processors. The processors are rumored to release in early October, however, 9th Gen Processor Prices have been leaked ahead of launch. According to Silicon Lottery, the Intel i9 9900k will go for $479 whereas the Intel Core i7 9700K will go for $369.
This year 9th gen of processors are basically improved versions of the last year’s Coffee Lake and hence the name Coffee Lake Refresh. The 9th gen is a 14nm architecture based processors same as last year. it seems like we will have to wait till next year for Intel’s 10nm processors.
Intel 9th Gen Processor Prices Revealed
The revealed prices are almost in the same ballpark as Intel’s 8th Gen processors upon release. The popular Intel i7 8700k was priced the same as Intel Core i7 9700K when it was released. The Intel Core i7 9700k is an 8 core 8 thread processor while the Intel Core i9 9900K is an 8 core 16 thread processor. As per Leaked documents, this will be the first mainstream Core i9 desktop processor and will include 16 MB of L3 cache and Intel’s UHD 620 graphics chip.
