Hollow Knight: Silksong PC System Requirements (Minimum and Recommended)

Hollow Knight: Silksong PC System Requirements
Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong is an upcoming Metroidvania title from Team Cherry and it is a follow-up to Hollow Knight featuring Hornet from the first game. While the game still doesn’t have a release date, the Hollow Knight: Silksong PC System Requirements have been revealed for steam users. Those of you who are wondering what pc specs it takes to enjoy this beautiful upcoming masterpiece can look at below.

Hollow Knight was one of the best games from last year, and a benchmark for modern Metroidvania games, delivering excellence in gameplay, lore, world design and music. This new game is supposed to launch on MacOS and Nintendo Switch as well. Unfortunately, we don’t have any official Hollow Knight: Silksong System Specifications for macOS.

Hollow Knight: Silksong PC System Requirements

If you’re looking to run the game on PC, you’ll need the following specifications

Minimum Specs:

  • OS: Windows 7
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E5200
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce 9800GTX+ (1GB)
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Storage: 9 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: 1080p, 16:9 recommended

Recommended Specs:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 560+
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Storage: 9 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: 1080p, 16:9 recommended

The game like its predecessor isn’t demanding at all. Even on a fairly old system, you won’t have any problem with this game. The first game didn’t exactly have many graphical settings as well, and you could mostly just change your resolution.

While the game isn’t graphically intensive, it makes up for it with its breathtaking art design and hand-drawn world. The gameplay demonstrations reveal even more areas than the first game, and with Hornet’s traversal abilities, it looks like an even better game.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Release Date

The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but with the amount of work they’ve done already, we don’t think it’s too far off. You can add it to your wishlist for now.

The game was playable at E3, and you can check out 16 minutes of gameplay below.

While you’re here, make sure you check out the system requirements for recently announced titles as well.
