As promised in yesterday’s event, Windows 10 Technical Preview is now available to download for free for interested users. If you are an adventurous type and want to try out new features of Latest Microsoft’s Operating System you can download the Technical Preview now from Windows Preview website.
Windows 10 gives you Windows 7 like feel and modern apps work in windowed mode now. Start Menu is back now with live tiles in it and tiles can be re-sized. Windows 10 is focused on unified Operating System and it can be installed on devices with display ranges from 4 inches to 80 inches. Here is a statement from Microsoft:
Windows 10 will run across an incredibly broad set of devices – from the Internet of Things, to servers in enterprise datacenters worldwide. Some of these devices have 4 inch screens – some have 80 inch screens – and some don’t have screens at all. Some of these devices you hold in your hand, others are ten feet away. Some of these devices you primarily use touch/pen, others mouse/keyboard, others controller/gesture – and some devices can switch between input types.
To download the Technical Preview you must join Windows Insider program. To Join the Insider program and download the Windows 10 Technical Preview go to Microsoft’s Windows Preview website now. Remember that this preview is not a final build and it may have many bugs. So Microsoft recommends it to install on a separate machine instead of your primary machine.
