A few weeks ago, rumors for a remastered version of the hit open world racing game and the final entry of the main franchise, Burnout Paradise, that came out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC has surfaced and now we finally have a release date for the PS4. It seems fans will be going back into the streets of Paradise City, cruise again with excellent gameplay, rock and roll soundtrack and go back to a very unique era of racing games where everything wasn’t all that realistic and have the simulation tag attached to it.

While Electronic Arts did release a PC version of the game, it’s not confirmed if the game will come out on PC on the same date; however with the trend of most remasters being ported to PC as well, it would be unlikely that they would let this opportunity go to waste. While it is unclear that the game will be on pc, it is coming to PS4 and Xbox One, with PS4 getting physical copies in Japan as pointed by Gematsu.

Early reports of the remaster appeared on a Brazilian blog that listed the game to be released at 1st march, however with new reports the release date has been revealed to be March 16, 2018 for the PS4 in Japan for 4101 yen.

Burnout Paradise may not have been the best in the franchise but it was a pretty decent game with a metacritic score of 88/88/87 on XBOX/PS/PC, with tons of race modes, a fully implemented multiplayer and just a really good selection of rock and roll music, Burnout Paradise is a game you definitely have to play, even if you’ve never picked up a burnout game that came out on PS2.
