Biostar, a Taiwanese company that manufactures motherboards, outed their new Coffee Lake based Biostar B360 and H310 boards. They were supposed to be announced after the launch of Intel’s Coffee Lake processors but the specifications and prices of these motherboards ended up leaking online. They have since removed the data on this new hardware but we still managed to get the information about them.
Biostar HB360 and H310 Specifications:
There are two racing motherboards that include Biostar B360 Racing GTS3S and Biostar B360 Racing GTS5S. The GT5S is a standard ATX board while the lesser version, the GT3S is a micro ATX motherboard. Starting from the GTS5S, it will contain a total of three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for GPUs and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Meanwhile, the micro ATX GTS3S has two PCIe x16 slots and a single PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Both of the motherboards have dual M.2 ports for storage purposes. Both of these beasts have 4 RAM slots and 6 SATA ports.
Apart from the Biostar B360 Racing boards, there are two more motherboards that were revealed in the online leak. Those two are the Biostar B360MHD Pro and Biostar H310MHD Pro. Specifications wise, there is a lot of similarity between these two and the above mentioned Biostar B360 Racing GTS3S and 5S. The H310MHD and B360MHD Pro boards, however, are both Micro ATX. And unlike B360 that has USB 3.0 ports, these are equipped with two USB 2.0 ports on the back. Both have a single PCIe 3.0 x 16 slot and dual PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. None of these two motherboards contain M.2 storage. But 3 SATA and 2 RAM slots are available for both.
Biostar B360 and H310 Price:
The online leak unveiling Biostar B360 and H310 gave us all the information about their detailed specification. However, in the pricing department, we haven’t gotten that lucky. There is no word on the cost of these new motherboards. However, we are hopeful that in the very future, something will come up. Stay tuned! We’ll keep you updated.
