On this Christmas day, Switch users must be thinking to have some party with their friends. So, I thought to share the best switch multiplayer games with you. Some gamers are fond of multiplayer games but on hardcore style and some are casual gamers and play games just for fun and to relax.
Nintendo’s switch is quite popular among casual gamers and here are the popular Multiplayer Games you can find out it market, grab ’em and have fun with your friends.
Most shooting games these days are for adults and rated PG 18+, couple of years ago, switch decided to introduce a different, fun style shooting game Splatoon. It looked like a risk but the community swiftly followed and loved it, later they released a second installation, Splatoon 2. It is a third person shooter game in which players control characters known as Inklings, that shoot colored ink to attack enemies and clear goals. Inklings can switch between squid form and humanoid form, they can swim through their respective color in squid form and shoot color ink attacks in their humanoid form.
The sequel to first adds couple good features like mods, dual-wield weapons, sub and special weapons, jet-packs and dodge. The game also features Single player mode and a Hero Mode.
Rocket League is a winner of many awards and it’s been with us for quite some time but recently in November, it was released for Nintendo Switch. This game is of its own kind, you compete with other players as a soccer team but instead of anything else players control cars are the characters. They can jump, boost (NoS), Rotate in mid air and more. Team with most goals in the end wins just like any football/soccer game.
How can we not name a Super Mario game when it comes to best games of Nintendo’s platform. Super Mario Odyssey is 3D sandbox style game, in start of game Mario’s encounter with Bowser accidentally swaps its red hat with sentient hat with the ability to possess objects and other beings. This allows Mario to gain new abilities and various forms to help him in journey to rescue Princess Peach.
This game also features Co-op mode in which one player controls Mario and 2nd controls magical hat. It’s a beautiful game and ranked quite high, some reviewers even said that it’s the best ever game built in 3D.
Nintendo’s focus has always been on casual gaming and their games are mostly aimed for younger ages. ARMS is a casual Boxing game and the characters are robots with long arms. Its roster is full of a variety of characters with different attributes and styles. You can also use Switch Motion Control in this game if you want to have some real fun and get the heat going on in real life with you.
Snipperclips is a co-operative puzzle game for up to four players. The game makes use of a snipping mechanic to allow players to cooperate and solve shape and physics-based puzzles together using their respective joy cons. Players control two characters named Snip and Clip, who each possess shaped bodies that can be rotated in place. When the two characters overlap each other, one player can snip the overlapped portion out of the other player, altering the shape of their body. Using this mechanic, players must come up with creative ways to solve various puzzles, each with unique objectives. Four players can make use of the game’s Party and Blitz modes.
Death Squared is a cooperative puzzle game for 1-4 players. Each player needs to guide a robot to a color-coded goal, with various deadly traps and hazards in their paths. Teams of players will need close observation and communication to keep each other alive and discover a solution together.
