AverMedia has just released AverMedia Live Gamer 4K HDR Capture Cards that are ready to be part of your gaming setup. There Capture cards are able to record gameplay videos at 4K as well as normal resolutions. These cards are said to be the first capture cards to record 4K HDR gamplays. Thats not it, one of these cards is an external device that connect via USB and still help you to record gameplays at 4K.

AverMedia released two of their new capture cards few days ago. Both of them capture at 4K. One of the AverMedia Live Gamer 4K HDR Capture Cards is Live Gamer 4k. This is what the next generation Capture cards are all about. Live Gamer 4k is bringing you the next level of capture features, capturing 4K HDR content with upto 240 frames per second. It is the claimed to be the first capture card that capture videos at 4Kp60 HDR. Capturing at 60 FPS is nice and smooth but capturing at at 240 Hz of refresh rates in full HD is the best. It is a PCIe based capture card featuring RGB lighting giving more reasons to add it to your system. It has PCI-Express x4 Gen 2 interface. HDMI 2.0. Resolution supported by it are 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p. Record format is  MPEG 4 (H.264+AAC) or (H.265+AAC).

To records videos at 4Kp60 HDR or 1080p240 you need to have windows 10 x 64. Should have Intel Core™ i5-6XXX or above processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or above GPU and 8 GB RAM  (Dual-channel).

Live Gamer Ultra 4K HDR:

Live Gamer Ultra is a plug and play Capture card. No need for any drivers or anything just plug it in and you are set to record a 4K gameplay. It is not as good as Live Gamer 4k but it allows you to capture 4k HDR streams at 30 frames per second. However it helps you to achieve 60 frames per second at 1440p and 1080p. Disabling the HDR elevates the refresh rates to 120 fps at 1080p. The Live Gamer Ultra connects to you computer by using USB 3.1 type C and it has HDMI 2.0 to connector to the display screen. Recording formats are MPEG 4 (H.264+AAC) or (H.265+AAC)*. The supported resolutions are  2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p.

For Laptop you need Intel Core i7-7700HQ or above CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 Ti or above GPU and 8 GB RAM (Dual-channel). To record at 1080p60 on a desktop you need to be running a Intel Core™ i5-3330 or above CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 / AMD Radeon R7 250X or above GPU and 4 GB RAM. For laptop you need Intel Core i7-4810MQ CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M or above GPU and 4 GB RAM (8GB Recommended)
