Aftercharge Just released on PC and Xbox One

Aftercharge

Competitive online shooters with a more fantasy aesthetic have recently become quite famous with the fame of games like Overwatch, Paladins, and even Fortnite. These days, when people are dropping battle royale games left right and center, it’s refreshing to see a different kind of competitive online shooter. Aftercharge is exactly that, a competitive 3v3 online shooter and you can play it now!

The news came from the Twitter account of aftercharge themselves via the following tweet:

The game was said to be released on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Right now, it is only out on PC and Xbox One but a Switch release can’t be that far away. Below is the description of the game:

What’s Aftercharge even about?

“AFTERCHARGE is a 3 vs 3 competitive game pitting invisible robots against an invincible security squad in high-octane tactical skirmishes. The robots must sneak around to destroy all the energy extractors on the site while the guards are tasked to spot the attackers and stop them.”

None of us knew we wanted a First Person Shooter where you can play as invisible robots until we got it. You can check out the game today on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The game has an intriguing concept and looks to have an interesting core mechanic of invisibility to shake up the formula of regular competitive online shooters.

In case any of you want to play the game on PC, below are the system requirements:
