The wait is finally over as Warid has begun testing its 4G network. Earlier this week, 4G LTE trials for postpaid customers were initiated. And now, we are having reports regarding the trials for prepaid customers too. As per details, the trials will begin next week. If you are having a 4G compatible handset and are in coverage area, Warid will ship the 4G-enabled SIM to you or you may need to replace it from nearby franchise.

If you are up to the criteria and still does not get any call, you can call 321 and get the details. To check out whether you are in coverage area, simply head to your device settings and search manually for available networks. Or you can send an SMS i.e. ‘4G’ to 5555. If you find Warid LTE, it means you are within coverage area and are having a right smartphone. However, simply selecting it will not help as you need to have a 4G SIM. Warid will deliver it to your place or gives you the option to get it replaced once you get them acknowledged.

warid-4g-networkAt the moment, Warid is offering 4G LTE trial in six cities of Pakistan for postpaid customers. This includes Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi. Most of the postpaid customers are giving a positive word-of-mouth regarding Warid 4G LTE. They are claiming it to have constant speed in each and every corner of the coverage area. The speed is around 16 Mbps. This is just a trial test. We can expect to have more speed once the trial ends and final launch is made.

Recently, we told you about Warid deal with Ericsson regarding 4G LTE rollout. The competition is ON between ZONG and Warid. Let’s see which one dominates the 4G sector in Pakistan!
