The Surge 2

The Surge 2 is an upcoming action-adventure soulslike video game developed by Deck13 and published by Focus Home Interactive. Now, The Surge 2 Pre-Order Bonus for PC, Xbox One and PS4 have been revealed.

The Surge had mixed reception, and a lot of the complaints revolved around the game being obtusely hard, and lack of polish you’d expect from a soulslike title.

We’re excited to see what Deck13 has in store for us and if they’ve actually learned from their previous mistakes with their attempt at a soulslike title. At the end of the day, the problem isn’t with the genre, but with the execution. Difficult games don’t automatically become fun and rewarding unless the difficulty is fair.
