The Ascent is an upcoming solo and co-op RPG set in a Cyberpunk world. Players are given the role of an enslaved worker that winds up in catastrophic events when the company suddenly shuts down. Alongside the announcement, The Ascent PC System Requirements have been revealed as well.

The game can be played solo, or with a party of up to 3 players in both local and online co-op. The game was revealed at the Inside Xbox event, with a stunning trailer.

The Ascent PC System Requirements

If you are interested in getting the PC version, you will need the following specifications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: 760 GTX or equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: i3 processor or equivalent
  • Storage: 15 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: 2070 GTX or equivalent
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: i7 processor or equivalent
  • Storage: 15 GB available space

The requirements here aren’t exactly very detailed, but give us an idea what sort of hardware players will need. If you’re looking to max it out however, you’ll need a powerful GPU. Surprisingly, the storage requirement isn’t very high, and is only 15 GB.

We’ve mentioned this before, but going into next-generation titles, we recommend PC gamers to upgrade their RAM to 16 GB. Modern titles can really take up a lot of memory, and some run significantly worse on lower RAM configurations.
