I recently covered a Samsung Galaxy A8s leak that showed screen protector for the phone with a camera hole in the left corner of the display. It was then suggested by other sources as well that the A8s will indeed feature Samsung’s new Infinity-O display. Today it has been confirmed by Samsung itself as they have announced the release date of the phone along with an image of the phone that shows the infinity-O display for the first time, however, the image is for the most part an artistic representation but it does clearly show the camera in the corner as was rumored previously.
This will be the first ever smartphone to feature such a display with a Huawei Nova 4 to follow suit shortly. The specs of the smartphone are not yet announced by Samsung, however, there is speculation that suggests some of the key features. Let’s see what can be expected from the upcoming A8s in terms of specs.

Samsung Galaxy A8s Release Date
The release date for the phone was announced just moments ago by Samsung. The following image was posted by Samsung on their Korean website.
The phone is coming out on 10th this month. Contrary to prior rumors which said that the phone will release in January next year it turns out that Samsung expedited the release to claim the title of first ever cutout Camera display phone.
It was believed that Huawei will beat Samsung to this title with the release of their Nova 4 smartphone which features the same display design. However, we now know that it is not the case as Huawei has also announced the date of its Nova 4 release.
Let us know in the comments what you think about upcoming A8s smartphone by Samsung.
