Rumor: GTA VI, Bully 2 and RDR 2 Re-Release and Rockstar Next Generation Plan’s Leaked

It seems that Reddit user joebucksucks420 has a friend inside Rockstar who shared a plethora of information with them. In a speculative thread made in the /r/Gaming subreddit, the user highlights a lot of information shared through his friend.

This is just like the old days where you have that one kid who had an uncle at Nintendo, so please take all of this information with copious amounts of salt.

Rockstar Next Generation Plan's Detailed

Rockstar Next Generation Plan’s Laid Out – Can They Deliver 3 AAA Titles in One Gen?

The user states that Red Dead Redemption 2 will get a re-release on the PS5 and Next Xbox the way GTA 5 did when they released the PS4 and Xbox One. This sounds like a very plausible rumor if Red Dead Redemption and its online components manage to exceed the expectations and bars set by Grand Theft Auto 5. He says that the likely release date is the end of 2020, which goes in line with the 2019 release date of the new console generation.

Bully 2

Rockstar is going full steam ahead on Bully 2. A 2006 sleeper hit that was a great hit with the fans as Rockstar experimented with a new title. Unfortunately, the abysmal sales numbers meant that they would be hesitant on a sequel, but the recent years have seen the game gain popularity after YouTube gaming personalities have done playthroughs of the game and brought it back to the radar.

Perhaps Bully 2 is in the cards, but then we will have to wait for more concrete information. It was a year ago that we saw Bully 2 concept art leak online, but again. Half-Life 3 also had its fair share of leaks. Bully 2’s expected release date looks like early 2020.

GTA VI

Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be on the drawing board right now. A recent public address by Dan Houser did state that GTA 6 can’t exist in a time where Trump is president. It seems that this dismisses a possible 2020 reveal or release date completely, so this information does sound credible.

The last bit of information ends with the projected release date being the end of 2023 but a more realistic release date would be 2024.

All of the information is a mixed bag of news. I can count on Rockstar re-releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 and possibly Grand Theft Auto 5 on the PS5 and Next Xbox, but Bully 2 sounds like a long shot. Rockstar will also make Grand Theft Auto 6, but a release window for it will always be a flip of the coin.
