RUMOR: Devil May Cry 5 Retail Spotted Online

Devil May Cry 5 May Have Been Accidentally Announced?

Considering the overwhelming amount of rumors surrounding the games, especially by the creator, the voice actor of Vergil and plenty of other evidence to suggest that we can potentially see Devil May Cry 5 or DmC 2 to be announced at E3 2018, we still need to have form of confirmation that the game is actually happening.

Devil May Cry 5 To Make An Appearance At E3 2018?

An online Austrian retailer has listed the game as Devil May Cry 5 for Xbox One and PS4, the absence of a PC version is disheartening, to say the least, meaning the game could be a timed console exclusive like all the other Devil May Cry games in the past.

Unless Gameware knows something the rest of us don’t, then perhaps we can hold some hope to see Devil May Cry 5 at this years E3 that is set to take place only a week from now!

Unfortunately, it also hurts their credibility when they boldly list games like GTA 6, The Elder Scrolls 6, and Gran Turismo 7 among many others, so they must have one heck of a crystal ball.

Keep in mind, that this is still going to be treated as a rumor so you better keep a salt shaker next to your computer or in your pocket to take this news with plenty of salt.

While the series has been absent for quite some time now, a return of the game would easily be welcomed by fans since we have only gotten the original games as remastered releases on each console generation and the air is starting to get a little stale.

While Capcom has been quite hushed on the subject, we can hope that they still recognize Devil May Cry as a much-wanted IP, it took them long enough to recognize the same for Mega Man, so we can hold out on some hope the Demon Hunter to make a return on the current generation consoles.
