RUMOR: Bayonetta 3 Release Date Could Be Summer 2018

UPDATE: The site is apparently run by Nintendo’s regional supplier, so the information might not be as credible as we originally expected.

For some time now, Bayonetta 3 release date has been eluding us with some hints suggesting a 2018 release date but the rumor has some strength to it now as a Nintendo Norway post stated that we can see Bayonetta 3 Coming in 2018 along with Metroid Prime 4.

Bayonetta 1 was a highly successful title on the Xbox 360 and the PS3, later on making its way to the PC and Wii U, the sequel was an exclusive on the latter and that made many fans of the series very displeased but also faced a bitter truth that without Nintendo, Bayonetta wouldn’t have been able to conitnue.

While the only material we have on Bayonetta 3 is a brief teaser trailer, we can hopefully look forward to more material to surface at the upcoming Nintendo Direct set to take place in January.

While Bayonetta 1 and 2 are headed to the Switch in February, creating a whole new hype for Bayonetta 3 when it was announced to be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. It was only a day ago that we reported on a rumor that Bayonetta 3 could see a Summer 2018 release date, but we paid it little heed.

It has come to light that Nintendo Norway accidentally put up a post that stated Metroid Prime 4, Kriby Star Allies and Bayonetta 3 are all titles that are slated for 2018 release dates.
