Moto X is a real HOT phone from Motorola this year. It is the only smartphone from Motorola made under the supervision of Google. One month back, we informed you about the features and specifications of Moto X. Now we bring you an easy way to root Moto X.
Before you continue, be sure that we will not be responsible for any damage to your device. The guide to Root Moto X can also be followed for rooting other Motorola’s handsets i.e. DROID MAXX, Ultra and Mini.

Step 1: First of all, download PwnMyMoto for Moto X here. There are different apks available for different carriers so choose the right carrier and download. For other Motorola handsets, download the apk here.
Step 2: Connect your phone with PC.
Step 3: Now, run this ADB command:
adb install -r PwnMyMoto-<write version and model here>.apk
Step 4: After applying the command, reboot your phone.
Step 5: Run the PwnMyMoto app from your phone. Your phone may reboot several times. The app will be automatically uninstalled after the process.
Step 6: Now download SuperSU from Google Store here. The app will enable you to manage root access.

adb shell getprop ro.boot.write_protect
