Red Knight, Raven, and Cupid To Get Winter Variant Skin in Fortnite

Fortnite v7.00 Patch Notes
Fortnite Season 7

Red Knight, Raven, and Cupid are 3 rare skins in Fortnite which only show up seldom in the store. It seems that there are hints in the files that suggest the 3 skins are getting a Winter Variant Skin in Fortnite in an update that is supposed to drop later this week.

Old Skins – New Looks? Winter Variant Skins in Fortnite!

While it is not yet known whether or not Epic actually plans on giving older skins a new look, since one of the loading screens does give a hint of giving Merry Marauder (Gingerbread Man) a toasted look, but owners of the skin have yet to report the change taking effect. FortniteInsider shared the following screenshot.

When are they coming?

Currently, the files for the skin variants are only present in the files themselves, there is no indication from Epic whether or not they have plans on implementing these updates or if they do then when they will put the changes on these skins.

Keep in mind that we are still only at the start of Season 7, so there is plenty of time for Epic to give the fans some love. There also seems to be hints of the Galaxy Skin getting further additions to it in the form of sprays and a weapon wrap. The only thing left would be a contrail for the Galaxy set to make it a complete set.

We can only take a shot in the dark and say Epic will implement the new skins closer to Christmas, so you will only have to wait a few days more. Unfortunately, gifting has been removed from the game for the time being but can see a comeback during Christmas eve as there will be plenty of people willing to shop skins or emotes for friends and family, an opportunity which Epic wouldn’t want to miss out on.

Currently, Season 7 has done a lot for the game to make it a lot more fun. With the addition of zip lines, planes, and a new snow biome to name a few.
