Rainbow 6 Siege Halloween event just leaked on Reddit. Possible haunted house themed event. The leak was made by in-game challenges where the game shows that the new Halloween challenges will be available soon.
Rainbow 6 Siege Halloween Event
Ubisoft released a limited time game mode for Rainbow 6 Seige where the developer team introduced a custom game map with custom enemies introduced in the Operation Chimera expansion. The enemies were zombies as you can judge by their appearance. Let’s just say Rainbow 6 Siege themed Left 4 Dead.
Event Overview
The event featured three different missions: Blowing up a nursery for the infection, rescuing a doctor who has information of Patient Zero and rooting out the source of the infection.
Each mission consisted of 3 onsight operators who had to fight their way through multiple level segments separated by safe rooms. Segments typically involved a semi-linear trek through streets, buildings, and alleyways filled with infected hordes and was spread with different scenarios where you have to defend a stationary objective for a time duration. Some segments offered a degree of freedom in what order their objectives can be tackled.
On the map, multiple crates for ammunition, gadgets, reinforcements, and health were scattered. Using a Supplies kit replenished all consumables and Health.
Dead Operators gets respawned if their allies managed to survive and kill all the enemies in the area. When all of the operators died the mission was failed.
The event featured an exclusive collection of cosmetics including exclusive skins and charms which were available during the event only.
Home Screen Image hinting Rainbow 6 Siege Halloween Event
On the home screen where you queue up for a game showed this Spooky House which disappeared later suggesting of a possible Halloween event.
As Operation Outbreak they can Ubisoft can release a game mode fitting Halloween theme. The map House could be transferred to a Haunted House with spooky pumpkins and candies lying around the map.
A user on Reddit posted a picture which showed that Halloween challenges will be available soon in 6d 19h 35m at that time
