PUBG Mobile recently did a collaboration for the movie Suicide Squad. 2 Years too late, but better late than never, right? As the last day of the Dubai finals convenes, the twitter account just announced that the mobile game is looking to do a promotional campaign for Resident Evil 2, a game which is coming out on January 25th 2019. The PUBG Mobile Resident Evil 2 Event will look to giving players the look and feel of the Resident Evil world mixed with cosmetics and items to match.
It seems that the PUBG Mobile page has confirmed that there will be a limited time promotion event between Resident Evil 2 and PUBG Mobile. This will cover PUBG Mobile on desktops and the smartphones. Much like the recently finished Suicide Squad crossover, you will be able to get limited time cosmetics and other materials for your characters to chime in the launch of the game.

While a date hasn’t been officially announced, we should expect the event to go live sometime in December or January. The game has a January 25th, 2019 launch. The remake comes after the release of the original game in 1998 and is made using a completely new engine that helps give finer details in graphics and gore for the optimal zombie survival experience.
Choose your survivor?
While the library of cosmetics will definitely be greater in variety as players will probably be able to choose from iconic costumes from characters like Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Chris Redfield and other prominent characters in the game.
We can hope that the game could also introduce a limited time mode or map plan where it fits in with the Resident Evil 2 world. While the recent Suicide Squad event came under fire from the community for costly cosmetics, we can hope that this event learns from the shortfalls of the last and makes this an in-game event to remember.
