It seems that there is a unique approach to piracy with this new PS4 Firmware 6.20 Piracy method. The console hacking scene is just staring in disapproval of this latest method as it doesn’t involve any hardware or software tinkering on any part and as such is actually thanks to Sony. While the method will be patched soon, it is a great way to stockpile on games if you plan on keeping the PS4 off for a long period of time.
The new PS4 Firmware 6.20 Piracy method doesn’t need any hardware or software mod. Just add internet.
It seems that there is a new way to pirate on the PS4 that doesn’t even need you to jailbreak your console. Albeit it is a temporary glitch in Sony’s own system that enables this piracy method, it can still prove invaluable if you plan on keeping your console off the internet for a long period.
The method exploits Sony’s own way of handling digital licenses. Mainly by enabling your console as a primary console. A primary console is a console which can access a library of games without needing the internet, and the same PSN logged in on another PS4 can share games on the system but will need to be connected to the internet. This new exploit allows you circumvent the latter and allow for a second console that isn’t activated as a primary to access the library of games without the internet.
Keep in mind that the process is very lengthy and confusing, but if you have a friend willing to share their library of games with you and you do keep your console disconnected from the internet, this is worth checking out before it is patched by Sony.

The Piracy Method itself
We would highly advise against practicing this on a PS4 you use online regularly as Sony can either lock, suspend or ban the account using this exploit. As such, proceed at your own risk from here on.

- Add your account with games to ps4 and Activate it as a Primary console
- After changing your user see all games is unlocked
- After going to account with games and wait in the deactivate menu
- Remove LAN And deactivate account
- Show error DNS
- After log out of account
- All games are locked
- Going to account with games and wait in the deactivate menu
- Connect LAN cable
- Led blanking press click for deactivate
- After removing LAN
- See your games
- Not locked at the end server is free
- Done
- If games locked repeat again
We honestly recommend watching the video with the sound off as the instructions are a bit confusing to follow on their own.
Once again, we highly advise again doing this on a system you regularly use or otherwise. This method is definitely going to get a lot of people banned very soon.
