Myst VR is a remake of the original classic puzzle adventure game that came out back in 1993. This is a VR title built from the ground up to not only honor the original title but add all sorts of modern touches from visuals to audio. Players will visit the island again, but this time in full VR and the added dimensions add another layer of immersion. Now, the Myst VR System Requirements have been officially revealed through the Steam page as well.
This title is coming from the same studio that worked on the previous entries, and various editions over the years. They have managed to retain their indie status, and are self-publishing the game on Steam. The new version also works without a VR-headset.
Additional Notes: System requirements are subject to change until the launch, VR hardware requirements may differ.
Myst was hugely influential when it came out back in 1993, and continues to remain one of the most important puzzle games ever made. Its influence can be seen in modern classics such as The Outer Wilds, and more. We are excited to see how a new generation of gamers will finally experience the classic in VR and on modern PCs.
