Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a dark fantasy action-adventure game developed and published by the British video game development studio Ninja Theory. The game has been recently announced for the Switch and now the Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for Nintendo Switch File Size has been confirmed.

The game looks and runs pretty good from the footage above, which was recorded at PAX. We’ll wait for the game to officially come out so the actual performance and visual difference can be studied in detail. Hellblade is developed on Unreal Engine 4, which is a very demanding engine, but very scalable. Mortal Kombat 11 is also headed to the Nintendo Switch this month and the previews have been very solid.

It’s nice to see high budget games coming to the Nintendo Switch as well, and its hardware is definitely something that can handle many games. Many Bethesda titles including Skyrim, Doom and Wolfenstein were released for the console as well, and have very favorable reviews. FROMSOFTWARE also released Dark Souls Remastered for the console and it looks and runs quite good.

Hellblade has won numerous awards including multiple BAFTAs. Ninja Theory has shown that even a small independent studio can create high-quality triple-A titles when given the funding and creative freedom most developers aren’t lucky enough to receive.
