Guilty Gear Strive System Requirements (Minimum and Recommended)

Guilty Gear Strive System Requirements
Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive is an upcoming fighting game from Arc System Works, and the latest entry in the longrunning Guilty Gear series. The game was announced at EVO 2019, and now, players can finally get their hands on it in April. Arc System Works has brought a lot of their catalog to PC, including their more recent title, Dragon Ball FighterZ. It’s nice to see them support PC players with their games, and we hope that the fighting game scene can grow even more on PC. Now, the Guilty Gear Strive System Requirements have been revealed as well.

The game features over 15 unique characters, and 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics. The art direction, based on what we have seen so far is what you would expect from the talented people at Arc System Works. April isn’t that far off either, and the game is already available for pre-order. This will be the first major fighting game release of 2021, and it will be interesting to see what other studios come up with this time around.

Guilty Gear Strive System Requirements

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Processor: AMD FX-4350, 4.2 GHz / Intel Core i5-3450, 3.10 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon HD 6870, 1 GB / GeForce GTX 650 Ti, 1 GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 16 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.40 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 660
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 16 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset

Based on these requirements, it’s pretty obvious the game isn’t all that demanding. It only requires something like a GTX 660 to play at higher settings, paired with a third-generation i7, which is super outdated at this point. Players will also need a total of 16 GB of free space, and 8 GB of RAM to ensure smooth gameplay.

There is no mention of Windows 7, so we’ll have to see what the support situation for that is at launch. The game should run on a variety of systems based on the requirements, as a minimum of only 1 GB VRAM is listed.
