Grand Theft Auto V became the best selling game of all time in the US last year and has since been only growing to the point where we fear we won’t be seeing Grant Theft Auto VI, in a while. Not only that, but Rockstar has made half a billion from microtransactions alone, and that was back in 2016. With the game’s unparalleled success, it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see another edition coming out on the console versions, especially given the Xbox One X’s powerful specifications. Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition for Xbox One has been listed on Amazon, the game will most likely be given Xbox One X support, meaning enhanced visuals and up to 4k resolution, and since the game has been listed as Premium Edition, we’re sure it’ll be bundled with a bunch of shark cards or the criminal enterprise pack.
While there are no real details on the listing page, there is one very important thing to note, which is the release date, the game apparently will be coming out on 23rd March 2018. This could just be a placeholder date but it’s likely that Rockstar would be releasing something in March, given their release history.
Amazon listings do mean a lot, considering the release date for God of War was leaked because of an Amazon listing as well, so was South Park for Nintendo Switch.
It will be interesting to see what kind of visual upgrades this version has and what kind of items will be bundled with it, given the Xbox One X’s hardware specifications, the game will definitely look much better and play better than Xbox One.
