As mentioned in this article, Fortnite: Battle Royale has been undergoing drastic changes for the past few days. These changes have grown into leaks for the new season. Fortnite Season 5 is just 3 days away. We don’t know what to expect this time around because Epic Games has kept its mouth shut. like before, there is no meteor, but this time around there was a rocket launch and there currently are many rifts in time. some rifts are consuming up things while others are popping things out. New Items Appeared On the Fortnite Map
Yesterday one a carriage was spotted just sitting there near the moisty mire prison. Though it is still unsure whether it was spouted by a rift or not. This horse carriage or stagecoach seemed to be from the midwestern era. It hints that the new season’s theme may be mid-western.
But nothing can be said as of yet epic has been teasing us with different items hinting at the new season including an anchor, which suggests it could be a pirate theme. On the other hand, there is a carriage suggesting a mid-western theme. So it is really hard to take even a guess. here are some images of the items mentioned above.
Although the theme cannot be confirmed, I personally am leaning to the midwestern side. During the midwestern era, most of the land was covered in a desert and hence the stagecoach/ carriage. One more thing that a lot of people are missing is The Durr Burger incident. If you do not know about it, don’t worry. I got you covered. Recently, a rift opened up at the sign of The Durr Burger and it vanished after consuming its mascot. After vanishing from the universe of Fortnite it was found in the Californian desert. Is that a coincidence or what?

Fortnite Season 5 Theme: What to Expect?
Finally, we have our tease for Fortnite Season 5:
This is an official release by epic games on different social media platforms. A mask, which appears to be a fox mask is present in the picture with a huge crack in one eye. This mask could be one of two things, either it is an Anubis mask ( Anubis is an Egyptian God ) or it is a Kitsune mask ( A Japanese supernatural being ). It is hard to think that the New Season is related to Japanese culture. This could also be a Tier 1 skin, considering that the Carbide skin was also announced by Epic Games just like this.
There is another speculation though. What if Season 5 follows all themes and makes it a map that will give you a History Lesson. Considering the rifts in “time”. But I could be wrong. There are only 2 days left to find out!
