PSVita

Hacking your PSVita has never been easier thanks to a new exploit by bamhm182. The new exploit is called FinTrinity Tool which allows you to hack your PSVita in a matter of seconds. Previously, we had Trinity Exploit by  TheFlow which did the same job as FinTrinity but required more work. Installing Fintrinity is super simple, keep reading the article to know how.

Ultimately the credit goes to TheFlow who came up with Trinity exploit that enables us to hack PSPVita’s latest fw 3.60 and 3.70. FinTrinity just makes the process easier.

If you have ever owned a PSVita console then you probably know how capable of a handheld device it really is and it is quite unfortunate that Sony never paid it the attention it deserved. Support for PSVita was officially ceased a while ago. However, the PSVita makes for an excellent homebrew device and also is great for emulation. Installing FinTrinity enables you to do just that.

Before we start, do note that Fintrinity is currently under development and is by no means a final product. Having said that there is no reason not to use it as it works flawlessly. It offers a basic GUI for now but it is ample for the task at hand. It is written in python and, for now, it lacks the ability to allow you to choose between multiple game backups if you happen to have multiple PSP games backed up through QCMA as it automatically chooses for you.

How To Use FinTrinity?

Requirements:

  • Windows 10 PC
  • PSVita Console
  • Data Cable
  • Python installed
  • QCMA with your PSVita already registered to it and a PSP game backed up. You can read more about this here.
  • Be sure to make a backup of the PSP Game in case something fails.

Installation Steps:

  • download FinTrinity from this link once you have the above requirements ready.
  • Extract the ZIP file you just downloaded and open GUI.py if you want to use the GUI version, however, if you want to use the command line version then open FinTrinity.py.
  • If using the GUI version, hit confirm to patch the game that FinTrinity chose. If you’re using the command line version, type “yes”
  • Wait a few seconds and you’ll get a message telling you that the process has been successful. The bubble back up in question has now been Trintified
  • Refresh QCMA’s database (right click on the tray icon) and copy the bubble back to your PSVita

That’s it! Enjoy your newly hacked PSVita.
