Dota 2 The International 2018 is so far the most exciting and anticipated eSport tournament to look forward to. As it is full of entertainment from longest games to bloodbaths, comebacks, and upsets, clean sweeps it literally has everything that you might hope for and this year’s TI will be no different. If I were to write all of the stuff then it will become a very long post and who has the time to read long stuff right? Below are the results for The International 2018 Group Stage Day 1.

The Group Stage was great as it was expected. There were long games, stomps, short ggs. Teams seemed to be experimenting with builds and drafts. There were a lot of interesting matches with long durations, bloodbaths, clean sweeps and short games as well. Following are the results of Group Stage Day 1.

There are so many strong teams in this International that you are not completely sure who is going to take the Aegis of the Champions.

Group Standings

After the conclusion of day 1, many teams easily destroyed their opponents, some managed to get victorious and some seemed to be struggling. Following are the results of both of the groups.

Group A Standings

EG had a strong start and obliterated enemies who stood in their way. They finished with an astonishing 5-1 by only losing to Invictus Gaming. Liquid also seemed to be experimenting with their drafts and managed to get on the 2nd place with a 4-2 losing to Fnatic and PSG.LGD. In the 2nd game against Team Liquid, Fnatic managed to pulled the biggest stomp in the histroy of TI by desroying Liquid with 39-1. Following the standings of rest teams in group A.

As with Group A, Group B was also full of matches where the players seemed to be testing their potential through experimenting with drafts and builds and surprisingly VGJ.Storm managed to top the group with a solid 4-0 without losing a single game to any of the teams, VP also looked very strong and only losing to Team Serenity they managed to get the 2nd spot.
