Those of you who don’t know, Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood for PS4 is an upcoming action-adventure game meant exclusively for the PS4. The game recently got rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. There was some speculation regarding the rating of the game but it has been finally announced.

The Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the night game was initially released on PS1 back in 1997. The game became an instant classic and was then released on the Xbox 360 console as a digital download. It has also been made backward compatible on the Xbox One.

The Rondo of Blood, however, is another story. Although released in the 90s, it first came out on Turbo-Grafx CD console. Rondo of Blood never got a U.S. release until Nintendo added it to the Wii Virtual Console service as a digital download. A version of Rondo of Blood did come out for Super Nintendo under the name Castlevania: Dracula X, but it’s since become a rarity.

So basically Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood for PS4 would essentially be a Remake. Both the games would be part of a collection. We expect to know more about the game once Konami decides to make details available.

Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood for PS4 Rated

Below is the description from the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s official website.

This is collection of two action platformers in which players assume the role of a vampire hunter battling Dracula and other creatures. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse Dracula’s castle to kill fantastical enemies (e.g., zombies, demons, minotaurs). Characters use whips, swords, axes, and magic to defeat enemies. Pixelated blood is depicted when players’ character and creatures are killed; some attacks result in decapitation and dismemberment of creatures, including a boss character that loses its body parts and entrails. As players progress, they may encounter female creatures (e.g., harpies, medusa) that have exposed buttocks and are depicted topless, though there are no discernible details (i.e., no nipples).

owing to the description given above it was decided that the game shall be rated “T” with the  Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, Violence.

There isn’t a whole lot that is yet known of the game but we are waiting on more info like release dates and future trailers. This is all for now.
