There has been some new development regarding the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game title. The popular anti-tampering security system, Denuvo, in an attempt to brag about their services, accidentally revealed the name of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game on their website. There has been a lot of speculation regarding the upcoming title starting around May last year. However, nothing decisive was known about the title details. Now might be the time to put the rumors to rest as the game has been spotted on Denuvo’s website under the name “Assassin’s Creed Dynasty”.
Assassin’s Creed Dynasty Accidentally Confirmed by Denuvo
Just moments ago, Assassin’s Creed Dynasty was spotted on Denuvo’s website on a page regarding job openings. While bragging about their successful security measures against piracy in several AAA games, the web page also mentioned the name “Assassin’s Creed Dynasty”. Until now the name was a mere rumor with no legitimate source to substantiate it but coming from an authentic Anti-piracy company ,one would think that Denuvo would know what they are talking about keeping in mind their inner dealings with game developers on different projects. Have a look at the screenshot I took on my mobile phone.
The name was stated under a “We’re Hiring” heading where several jobs were posted relating to multiple software developer positions in the company.
Apart from this, last year there was a major leak on 4chan in which several details regarding the game’s story were leaked by a member.
Details such as,
- Takes place during the rise of Flavian Dynasty in Achaea, Macedonia, Thrace and the Aegean Sea, but not Asia Minor (most of Modern Greece)
- Rhodes will be in game, but Crete will be a DLC similar to THO
- Templars are families that control cities and the three provinces as Roman Clients and administer propaganda for the new Empero
- Can choose to play as male or female protagonist from Spart
- Major differences in main story, targets, skills and customization based on character chosen
