Google releases Android 4.4.1 update, fixes Camera issues with Nexus 5

Google has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat to devices other than Nexus. Recently, the update started to roll out on hTC One and LG G2. Still a large number of smartphones lack the update i.e. Samsung Galaxy Series, Sony Xperia Series etc. Samsung smartphones are expected to receive the update next month. However there are not much words regarding Sony Xperia smartphones. Yet the non-availability of Android 4.4 KitKat for several smartphones, Google has started rolling out the first update to Android KitKat i.e. Android 4.4.1 update.

Android 4.4.1 update is released for all Nexus devices including Nexus 5. The new Android 4.4.1 update fixes many issues including the Nexus 5 Camera issue. Nexus 5 was a great release from Google but it showed some camera issues. The issues were regarding the capture of Nexus 5 Camera. The quality of image produced by camera was not as good as it should be. There was no issue with the camera rather it was a software issue. Android 4.4.1 update has made fixes to this issue. Now you can focus on items much faster. Hence you can now clearly feel the difference!

Moreover, Android 4.4.1 update also enhances the audio quality of Nexus 5. Now coming to other fixes that the update contains, the update also fixes user interface issues, making the icons lined. The icon for ‘Settings’ is bit altered. The update has made Android Runtime available to all Nexus devices.
