WILDERMYTH SAVE FILE LOCATION

Maybe you want to find your save file to back it up on a secure storage device, or maybe you want to delete it to start a new fresh run in case your save file was corrupted. You could also want it if you are from the modding community and want to tinker with your save file (which you do at your own risk). Either way, follow these steps below to find your save file.

  • Open File Explorer. You can open it by searching “File Explorer” in the Start menu. It’s also usually pinned to your Taskbar.

  • Once opened, go to the drive you installed Steam in and opened the folder named Steam.
  • Find the folder named steamapps and open it.
  • Over here you’ll see the common folder and inside that will be the Wildermyth folder.
  • Once inside the Wildermyth folder, go to the players folder and then find the folder with your Player Profile Name.
  • This folder contains your save

You can also copy-paste the command below on the bar next to the Search bar on File Explorer to directly open the players folder on your PC.
