The Last of Us Part 2 is among Sony’s last major titles to give the PS4 a glorious sendoff into the sunset before the PS5 releases later this year. Unfortunately, one leaker is determined on making sure the indefinitely delayed game leaks like a sinking ship. The Latest Last of Us Part 2 Leaked footage shows us even more cutscenes and content from the game.

You can see from the above videos, that this is indeed a sinking ship for Sony. If these early cutscenes are any hint of the game then a good majority of the plot has been spoiled. Parts of the game that can’t even be rewritten or shot again as the game is at the finished stages.
The game was delayed earlier this year amongst COVID-19. Sony’s indefinitely delayed’ The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR, removing both games from the PlayStation Store and refunding digital pre-orders to consumers on the PlayStation Store.
Unfortunately, the game is yet to get a new release date, but if leaks like this aren’t contained in time, there might be little hope left for the title if these leaks do continue to circulate.
The game has been in development for almost half a decade, and it would be an utter shame to see the work of Naughty Dog and Sony put to a troubling test. as the leaks continue, it seems that there could be more leaks in the future.
While we still don’t have a fixed release date or a window for the game to come out, one can only wonder how long will it be until too much of the game is revealed through these methods?
As the situation with COVID-19 continues, a release date doesn’t seem like its on the horizon for The Last of Us Part 2. This only makes us wonder if there is more to come, and if so, will Sony and Naughty Dog look into curbing future leaks?
