Super Mario Maker 2 is easily one of Nintendo’s better games coming out in 2019. It will allow players to make their own custom Mario levels from various generations into playable levels for other players. A new gameplay trailer shows us a first look at the new game allowing you use to multiple Mario levels to form one big level.
Super Mario Maker 2 – A Game For The Ages
Nintendo Japan posted a very interesting video on their instagram page. They show off Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World and Super Mario 3D World, all the games are considered to be benchmarks for a new dimension everyone’s favorite plumber would tackle.
What is interesting to note is that this is one big level. That’s right. An improvement of this game over its predecessor is the ability to connect multiple levels together from various Mario games. This is definitely a unique achievement for the company and definitely a feature many people will look forward.
Any Super Mario fan will tell you that each Super Mario game will have its own unique quirk or mechanic that can play a role in the larger level. For us to pick and choose elements from various Mario games into creating a good level, shows how much freedom Nintendo is giving players with this game.
Super Mario Maker will come out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on 28th June 2019. The game is set to feature new items, mechanics, features, and will allow us to use the different era of Super Mario games to create our ideal level for the famous plumber.
The game will also let you play as various versions of Mario, so that is another exciting prospect!
