If you were having trouble with Sonic Mania, never fear! Because you can now have some mindless fun by using several Sonic Mania Cheat Codes. These work with all versions but do not work with the Encore DLC. Some of these codes only apply to Sonic.
The following is a guide of what you need to do in order to access these Sonic Mania Cheat Codes.
How to Enable Sonic Mania Cheat Codes
- Enter Mania Mode and visit “No Save”.
- Enter the code for selecting levels.
- For Switch Users, Hold “Y” and select “No Save”. You will be at the Level Select screen.
- Visit Sound test and play the following sounds to enable the desired Sonic Mania Cheat Codes:
33319790811: Change all animals into squirrels.
4126: All Emeralds obtained.
19921124: Infinite Continues.
20180623: Force Encore mode.
19890501: Unknown effect.
20170815: Super Sonic Flight triggered in normal levels without needing to be Super to trigger it.
9001: Max Control for Sonic. With access to Drop Dash, Super Peel-out, and insta-shield.
00006214: Disable Super Music.
Interestingly, some of these dates mark iconic times in the history of the franchise. 20170815, or 15th August 2017, is when Sonic Mania was released. 20180623, or 23rd June 2018, is the date of Sonics 27th birthday celebration that happened in Japan earlier this year.
The rest of these likely have some hidden meaning as well, so speculate away, easter egg hunters!
