There is a lot of excitement and anticipation in the air as time moves forward today. With every passing second, we get closer to the mysterious and secretive event that is supposedly going to take place at 14:00 CEST. That is right, earlier today, an official Twitter account of “Morphies Law” tweeted that there is going to be a surprise update at the aforementioned time on Monday which is today. Apparently, they have hinted at this before too and just now, have confirmed that it is indeed going to happen today at 14:00 CEST. Many have speculated that the update is going to be a Nintendo Direct event.
Some Game Developers Hinting at Nintendo Direct Today
Several different Twitter accounts belonging to different developers have hinted that today there is going to be some sort of an announcement. As previously mentioned, Morphies law posted the following tweet stating that,

Remember we said there was an update coming on Monday? Well it's going to happen at around 14:00 CEST. ????

It was preceded by Direct-Feed Games Twitter Account where it was posted that,
Pre-sleep thoughts: I think Monday is going to be a good day.

but it doesn’t end here, after Morphies law tweet, Baba is you, an award-winning puzzle game, twitter account also posted in favor of such news. The Tweet states,
There'll be some really exciting news at 14:00 CEST today!

At this point, its all speculation as to what the update is going to be but most sources have insinuated that a possible Nintendo Direct is going to be held at the said time today. However, it still remains uncertain what the subject of the rumored Nintendo Direct is going to be. Most probably some new independent titles for Nintendo Switch are going to be announced but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
