Sega Gamescom 2018 Lineup Revealed: Valkyria Chronicles 4, Persona Dancing and More

Sega just announced their games lineup for Gamescom 2018. The event will start from August 21st to 25th at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. There are a total of 6 games for Sega Gamescom 2018 lineup. Some of them will be playable for the very first time.

According to Gematsu, the six games which the fans will experience to play in their Gamescom booth are:

  • Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (PS4)
  • Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight (PS4, PS Vita)
  • Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight (PS4, PS Vita)
  • Team Sonic Racing (PS4, Xbox One, Switch)
  • Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC)
  • Valkyria Chronicles 4 (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

This list does not look like a huge lineup but these games are surely highly anticipated. Total War Three Kingdoms is a PC exclusive and will be playable for the first time, featuring an exclusive campaign map experience and a night-time ambush battle.  It is planned to release sometime in spring 2019, and it will also be the first Total War game to feature two very different gameplay modes, Classic and Romance.

Out of all these games mentioned in the list, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the most highly anticipated game. It was released by Sony for game promotion on PS4 in March and it is planned to release worldwide on different platforms as well as PS4 in English. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a strategy game much likely the first three games however, It introduces a new soldier class known as the Grenadier, who can fire mortar rounds at enemies. If allied soldiers are present to provide battlefield information, they can fire without being seen by hostile forces.

If you have played a previous title from Valkyria Chronicles series then rejoice you will be getting the 4th installment in the series. The game looks promising so far. Let us hope it will not be disappointing.

Along with all of these games reveal Sega will also be previewing Football Manager 2019, with a special activation event that will put fans in the firing line for questioning from ESPN journalist Raphael Honigstein. Attendees can also participate in the Football Manager-themed photo booth and receive a Football Manager notebook. Unfortunately, the game itself won’t be playable at the event.
