RUMOR: PUBG VR In The Works Under The Title PUBG LITE

While PlayerUnknowns BattleGrounds is having a hard time keeping up with Fortnite in numbers, there might be some good news for loyal fans of the game. According to a new Trademark filed by Bluehole. While we do not yet know the platforms for which PUBG VR will be released for considering it is on all the platforms where VR is applicable except for the Xbox One – The PC, Smartphones, PS4.

Even with all the troubles and complaints that trouble the PUBG community, you have to admire their loyalty and dedication to the game. It has one of the most loyal fanbases next to Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on the steam charts.

While PUBG Lite currently exists for the Google Play Store as a lighter version of the game that can run on lower-end devices more smoothly, it seems that this could be a placeholder name, The game has been classified as Virtual reality game software. This means that a VR version of the game is definitely in the works.

This trademark appears a week before The Game Awards set to take place on December 6th, 2018. Could the event be where the announcement is made as the release date for the PS4 version is also December 7th, 2018. The timing is all very convenient, but for a final say on the matter, we will have to wait for an official announcement from the games official pages.
