The Cash Bonus is for Story Mode and is directly tied to Story Mode progression. Players who digitally pre-ordered their copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive $150 in-game cash upon completion of Chapter 1 of Story Mode. I think this is very straightforward. Just complete the chapter 1 in story mode and the bonus will be automatically added to your game.
