Judgment is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Sega for the PlayStation 4. The game is a spinoff of the Yakuza series and features many similar elements. The game is only available on PS4, and if you’re interested in trying it out, you can now download the Judgment Prologue Demo.

The demo is available for free, and the game itself is currently on sale as well and you can pick it up for 35% less on the US PlayStation Store.
The demo isn’t very long, but it will give you an idea of how the game looks visually, and where it differs from the Yakuza series when it comes to tone, and what it brings new to the franchise.

- Login to your PS4 account on either your PS4 or browser.
- Head over to this link in case you’re using a browser
- Click on ‘Try Free Demo’
- If you’re using the PS Store via PlayStation 4, simply search for ‘Judgment Prologue Demo’
- Click on the title page, and try the demo
- You don’t need a PS+ subscription to avail this demo
The demo is sized at 14.52 GB and isn’t very long. Keep in mind that the opening chapters can be a bit slow, but the game picks up after the end of chapter 1.
SEGA has been absolutely nailing the Yakuza franchise, and they have been slowly moving it to PC as well. We’re very sure that eventually, the game will be available on Steam as well. Both Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are available currently on PC, and SEGA is very happy with the reception.
