Halo Reach is finally available on PC via both Steam and Xbox Game Pass. This is the first title to be released as part of the Halo The Master Chief Collection on PC. Here’s how you can fix Halo Reach not launching on the Windows Store version/Game Pass.
The game is currently the top seller on Steam, and we’re very happy that PC players can finally experience the franchise at 4K60FPS.
Fix Halo Reach not launching on Windows Store Version
If you’re on the Windows Store version or Game Pass
- Search for the application in the Window’s Search Bar
- Run the application through the file shown in results, rather than through the Game Pass Application or the Windows Store
This should fix the issue where the game doesn’t launch if you haven’t purchased it through Steam.
