Gears Tactics is an upcoming fast-paced, turn-based strategy game from Splash Damage and The Coalition. Now the Gears Tactics PC System Requirements have been officially revealed.

The game is now available for pre-order as well, and you can purchase it for both PC and Xbox One.

To run the upcoming game on PC, you’ll need the following specifications

Minimum

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel i3 Skylake | AMD FX-6000
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon R7 260X | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 45 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible

Recommended

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel i5 Coffee Lake | AMD Ryzen 3
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 570 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 45 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible

These are pretty reasonable requirements, and you won’t have a hard time running this game on even older PCs. You’ll be fine with a fairly old GTX 750 Ti and can max it out using a GTX 970.

Gears 5 is one of the best-optimized games on PC, and it’s a testament to what PC ports should be. We don’t expect any less when it comes to this as well.

The title is set 12 years after the events of the first game.

We saw a really nice trailer at The Game Awards 2019 a few hours ago. We’re glad to see The Coalition’s interested in different genres to expand the Gears universe.

Gears Tactics Release Date

The game is headed to PC and Xbox One on 28 April 2020.
