According to the patch notes, It seems that Save The World is not going to be free-to-play just yet. According to the v5.0 patch notes, Save The World is going back to sale on 17th July for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Season 5 is packed with new battlepass. 100 levels, over 100 new rewards.
