FFXIV x Monster Hunter World: Rathalos in FFXIV Trailer Revealed

A new trailer was just shown from the ambitious Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter World crossover. The trailer shows the popular Monster from Monster Hunter World Rathalos in FFXIV. With the tagline “The Hunt begins this Summer.” indicating that the release is close by.

In addition to this, Felynes were also shown in this trailer. Felynes are the humanoid cat-like creatures in the Monster Hunter series usually having a support role. Here is the trailer:

Earlier this month, A trailer was released from Monster Hunter World which showed Behemoth from FFXIV entering into the world of Monster Hunter World. Complete with all of its moves including summoning the iconic Final Fantasy spell Meteor. Mini Cactuars were also revealed.

This new collaboration continues to impress us with its free updates and a juicy bit of content. Monster Hunter World is releasing on PC on 9th August. Here are the specs if you plan to pick it up.

Rathalos in FFXIV is likely gonna bring players back to these games. Content like this should be exciting to players. Stuff like this could easily be locked behind a $10 or $15 price tag. But not with Rathalos in FFXIV or any of Monster Hunter Worlds free content updates for that matter.
