Crackdown 3 Store Page is Up and Supports Crossplay between PC and Xbox One

As you may already know, Crackdown 3 is an upcoming Action-adventure game that is being developed by Sumo Digital and will be published soon by Microsoft Studios. Crackdown 3 will come after nine years since the previous crackdown game released on the Xbox 360 in 2010. It has been a long time coming and after several delays, the game is set to release at the beginning of 2019. However, the exciting bit is the crossplay feature for the game between PC and Xbox One, the only two platforms on which the game will release.

Just moments ago, the listing for Crackdown 3 went live on the Microsoft store albeit no release date is mentioned as of yet. The game is listed under the Action & adventure and shooting genres with a Mature 17+ rating.

According to the official description,

Crackdown 3: Crossplay between PC and Xbox One

Although the description does not specifically state the crossplay feature between PC and Xbox One we did, however, find an interesting capability under the capabilities heading. Yup, that says Xbox Live cross-platform co-op. So apparently, you will be able to play with your friends on PC if you have an Xbox One in a co-op mode or vice verse.

Crackdown 3 Release Date for PC and Xbox One

Microsoft is yet to announce the final release date but we have it on good authority that the game is scheduled for release in Feb 2019. The game did have an original release date of 2016 but the developers, owing to complications, had to delay the game several times. This time, however, I believe that the game will infact release in Feb next year so fingers crossed.
