Chronos: Before the Ashes is an upcoming RPG from Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic. It is coming to PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. The game is slated to come out in December this year and is an overhauled version of the original Chronos that came out in 2016. Now the Chronos Before the Ashes System Requirements have been revealed.

The original game received positive scores from both players and critics, and sits at a Metacritic score of 77.

To play this on PC, you need the following specifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 / 8 / 10 64 bit
  • Processor: AMD FX-8320 (3,5 GHz) / Intel i5-4690K (3,5 GHz) or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 / Radeon R7 370 with 2 GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 / 8 / 10 64 bit
  • Processor: AMD FX-8320 (3,5 GHz) / Intel i5-4690K (3,5 GHz) or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 480 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with 4 GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

Since this is an overhaul, the requirements have gone up too. Players will need something like an RX 480 with VRAM of 4 GB to play the game at higher settings. The game isn’t that demanding when it comes to storage requirements, and only needs 8 GB of free space.

Players will also need 8 GB of RAM if they wish to play the game at higher settings and resolutions. Windows 7, and 8 are supported according to this version.
