Now, in 2020, there are already rumors of a new title, which will be the next entry in the Black Ops series. While Activision hasn’t announced anything, it seems that with Call of Duty 2020 leaked footage making rounds online, we’ll get an announcement soon.

There is apparently more than 45 minutes of footage available. Even if this really is footage from the latest entry, take it with some grain of salt. Activision hasn’t announced anything yet, however, given their history, there is no way a new COD game isn’t coming out in 2020.

A lot of rumors indicate that the new title is indeed another entry in the Black Ops series, but serves as a prequel. We’ll be interested to see when Activision decides to officially announce it. Given the current political climate, it wouldn’t be appropriate to announce a title despite the leaks.

Leaks aren’t something Activision has exactly cared about before, given how those never affect their sales.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Warzone is very successful titles, and have given players the chance to play their signature styled gunplay in a free version as well.
