Rumors said that Jason Momoa (the guy who played Conan in Conan the Barbarian) is going to be the part of Batman vs Superman. There was no real evidence of that. Neither did Jason Momoa himself agreed to the question of him being the Aquaman or not. According to him, he was tired of being asked the same question again and again in public appearances.
Well he’s totally playing in “Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Warner Bros has not yet confirmed that he’s playing or not. But HitFix has confirmed that he will be playing the part. Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.
One of the things that has driven everyone crazy is the fight sequence of Zod and Superman at the end of Man of Steel. According to everyone that sequence was highly unnecessary and caused a lot of destruction. Yes you are right. But let’s take a look at the other side of the picture. The next movie will be all around consequences. Why you ask?
Because Lex Luthor would use all the destruction to blame Superman and making him look like a cold-blooded monster. And because of this, the role of the fight sequence makes it all clear.
Someone else who would not be happy about the fight sequence will be Aquaman. The king of oceans. This is because of the World Engine and what it did to the Indian Ocean in the movie. Though role of Aquaman would be rather small but that does not means it will not be important. This appearance will make his role up to Justice League movie.
So now hold your horses and stop asking Jason Mamoa of being the Aquaman or not in Batman vs Superman. But the final verdict is still hanging upon Warner Bros.
