Producers will introduce a new Digimon game project and hold a Q&A session where they will be answering pre-submitted questions. If any of our readers want to submit a question, you can do so here. The latest information about Digimon smartphone games and goods will also be introduced.

Could this be a new console or handheld entry for the Digimon franchise?

The first thing that comes to mind is whether this will be a mobile game or a mainline console entry. While mobile games can be great, we have seen great Digimon games in the past on consoles and handhelds. Such as Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, which had generally positive reviews and was beloved by fans. The fact that they have separately mentioned that there will be new news about Digimon smartphone games and goods indicates that this could be a console entry. Perhaps for the Switch? We’ll have to wait and see.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth- Hackers Memory was recently launched in Japan in December 2017, followed shortly by the release in North America and Europe in January 2018. The series producer Kazumasa Habu has previously said that they’re working on a new Digimon Story game separate from Hackers Memory. Could this be the game they were talking about?
